Warning: Overdraft Balance Transfer - Egg Card

Have posted this elsewhere but want as many to see it as possible. Hubby and I decided to balance transfer our overdraft to Egg card (in Hubby's name). He did this online and thought he had pressed the correct button. Shock horror when we got an online statement, balance transferred okay but the interest rate is 1.385% per month. More expensive than paying bank charge interest for authorised overdraft. Apparently he clicked the wrong button (which he did as he was an existing customer) if he had clicked a different button it would have stated that the 0% was only available to new customers. Now maybe non of you will fall for this (it is easily done - he is not stupid). So now it's Tesco's here we come.
