Roast beef and gravy, fish and chips or chicken Tikka Masala? We all have our favourite classic British dish, and now The Co-operative Membership have joined forces with Belling to give all you budding chefs the chance to create a classic of their own, which could be cooked live by Brian Turner at the BBC Good Food Show.


Alongside heritage British cooking brand Belling, we are giving this exclusive opportunity to Co-operative Members who are also amateur cooks, to come up with their own recipe giving a new twist on a British classic.

For over 100 years, Belling has been at the heart of every great British meal, and is the official appliance supplier to the BBC Good Food Shows. The Co-operative is partnering with Belling, official appliance supplier to the BBC Good Food Show, to award one Co-operative member who submits the winning recipe with £1,000 worth of cooking appliances as well as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see their recipe demonstrated live on stage by Chef Brian Turner.


To enter simply email your original recipe which should be your own original recipe, designed or written by you and that isn't already copy written along with a finished dish photograph and a valid membership number to [EMAIL="membershipcontactus@co-operative.coop"]membershipcontactus@co-operative.coop[/EMAIL] (subject - Belling Competition Entry) or by post to Belling Recipe Competition, PO Box 3504, Stoke on Trent, ST6 9ED

The recipes will be judged by Brian Turner and the winner will receive £1,000 to spend on Belling cooking appliances, tickets to the BBC Good Food Show Winter and their recipe demonstrated on the Belling Live Cook Theatre at the Show by Brian himself.
The winning recipe will be featured on the Co-operative Membership Website.


Closing date for entries is 5pm on 4 October 2013
