Signed off JSA - P45?

Hi,

I'm starting a new job on Monday so I signed off JSA yesterday. Will I receive a confirmation letter along with my P45, and how long does it usually take to arrive?

Thanks,

Should be no longer than a week, until you get the letter and p45, but you employer will probably get you to fill in a p46, so really a p45 isn't needed.

Six weeks if you use Sunderland BDC. If at all.

Well it would be needed if you want to be taxed correctly.
