Good point. When getting undressed to jump into bed the dirty socks and undies go straight into the wash basket. The trousers/jeans go onto an indoor airer either in my bedroom, the bathroom or the airing cupboard. Jackets, jumpers and shirts that have only been worn for a few hours get hung up back in the cupboard but yes away from the clean ones.

I don't mix clean and worn-but-still-wearable clothes. I put the wbsw clothes on a chair in the bedroom, socks and undies go in the laundry basket.
  • Tops - 1 day

    Cardis/jumpers - 1-3 times depending

    Jeans 3 -4 times depending.

To all the people saying weeks or months if they don't smell.

    Remember!

Just because you can't smell them - doesnt mean everyone else can't!!!

Some people just sweat more than others. My BIL originally from a hot country never uses deodrant/anti-per and he has no body odour issues at all!

My husband's the same, I couldn't get away with it, unfortunately.

Jeans 2-3 times max, tops a couple of days, dresses every day in summer, 2 times in winter, underwear I change 2-3 x a day as I'm a Pt and train 3 x a day at different times sometimes! I go through 2 full gym kits a day and they obviously get washed straight away!

My children I wash their clothes daily, they play, get dirty and sweaty! Sometimes shorts last a couple of wears depending where we've been!

I actually dont smell bad and I shower regularly.

If people want to fire everything in the wash after a few hours of wearing thats up to them, but speaking as someone who is on a low income and cant afford to be having the washing machine on all the time, Id rather wear a T shirt twice than not.

It's not just the financial cost but the environmental one. All that water and electricity being used and all the washing products going into the environment. You'd think that people would be more aware of these issues by now.
