Moving landline from Plusnet to Primus but keep broadband with Plusnet?

I pay PlusNet £14 per month for a landline I never use to MAKE calls and £10 per month for unlimited broadband.

As I never make any calls I thought I might as well move the landline to Primus and save about £7 per month.

Will PlusNet let me keep my broadband with them and pass my landline to Primus? I've asked them and have yet to hear back - always good to have a second or third opinion though.

If you use Line Rental Saver you will pay only £10.99 per month equivalent, not £14.50.

Shouldn't be a problem however you will probably find the cost of the broadband will go up by £2.50 if you don't take the line with them as well.

So you're paying £24 a month now as things stand.
You move to Primus, £5 a month, your broadband will become £12.49, that's £17.49 a month.

Or you can sign up to line saver rental, which would keep your broadband at £9.99 a month, your line rental would effectively be £10.99 a month, except it wouldn't show up like that as this is paid in advance.

That's £19.99 a month, effectively.
