Hope someone can give a simple yes no answer, I'm filling in the IHT205, at q7 do I put yes if the deceased was in receipt of her late spouses occupational pension and at q8 is this pension an alternatively secured pension fund

So my reading of that link is that an occupational pension is not an alternatively secured pension therefore I can answer no to q8

'occupational' could have been final salary or money purchase.

If the dependants pension was a final salary it would be No, no, no on Q8 (based on the info provided).
