Hello,

I know there are still ifs, buts and maybes..... but could people give me an idea of how long until completion after the valuation has been carried out? Valuation on buying and selling has been for prices agreed.

Selling - purchaser has no chain (renting)
Buying - seller has no chain (renting)

Selling - they have settled any queries, buying - our solicitor is currently going through contract.

Searches have been completed

Many Thanks

If your mortgage provider has processed your application before valuation then your mortgage offer should take around 4-5 days subsequent to valuation.

Your searches need to be performed and any enquiries should be raised and responded.

If you have no chain and your seller has no chain, then the exchange and completion is dependent upon how soon your seller is ready to move out and you are ready to move in.

    Good luck.

Sorry I missed that searches have been completed, everyone is eager to move ASAP!

If you've done the searches, and have the valuation, then in theory you could exchange and complete within a week.

You need to wait for the mortgage offer, check you are happy with the Property Information Pack (which your solicitor will send you) and then agree a date for exchange.
