Can I pay for a one off item on someone elses credit card without having to register that card to my paypal account?

It should be possible to use paypal as a 'guest' to make a one off payment, when you get the paypal screen from the invoice it should give you two options, one to sign in and one to make a one off payment.

I can tell you it is easy to make a one off payment on paypal with your credit card but it isnt clear...
I think Paypal prefer you to have an account.
Basically, when you want to pay for something you have just purchased off ebay for example, you are taken directly to the paypal log in page. You have to click on the link which says 'dont have a paypal account yet?'. Following this you are then taken to a page where you are again asked to log in and add your credit card details below. Simply dont log in and only add your credit card details. Basically, only fill in the boxes with the red star next to them!
Good to know as I dont always have money in my paypal account!0
