I have a bank account with Natwest and have had for 4 years now.

I have a £10k loan with them too (£8k left)
I've never missed a payment on my loan

I have a credit card with Capital One which i pay in full every month.
I have a credit card with Vanquis Bank which i pay in full every month.
I have an edge finance card which i pay off every month.

I tried applying for a credit card with Natwest today and they declined me, even though i have a £10k loan which i've paid £2k of so far?

I check my credit rating fortnightly and my credit score is 775 out of 1000 which is considered good.

So any ideas chaps?

There should be a phone number to Natwest to discuss the reason for the decline. You will probably end up speaking to the underwriters who will state why you didn't get the card. There is a possibility of over-riding the decision but don't hold your breath.
