The web address of the Gardening board has now been changed from https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/categories/greenfingered-moneysaving to https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/categories/gardening so that it is in line with the board's current name. Don't worry though, the old address will still redirect you here, but it's worth updating it in your saved links or browser favourites.

Identify a plant from a description please.
I bought a plant witch really caught my eye, really lovely,
It is Victoria plum coloured, leaves looks like butterflies or moth shaped. I am told it harvests pink flowers May/June time but bought it at a car boot sale a couple of weeks ago.
Even a gardener friend of mine couldn't identify it apart from saying it looks like a sort of geranium, really unusual.
Can anyone come up with a name, I don't have a photo

So is a herbaceous plant? If you could tell us a bit more - height, size of leaves, woody stems, etc - it would help.0 -
If it is Oxalis like rhubarb cottage says ,they might find this sun a bit hot for them ,they don't mind partial shade.0
