LLyds TSB- Opened online Bank ACC- Passport/Driving licence -showing them ?

a Lyds tsb account was opened online, and opened within some days , by checking the electrol roll (for verification)

They haven’t had a passport/ or driving licence as the account got opened with electrol roll verification.

If the passport/driving licence still wishes to be given to them, so they take a 'scanned/photocopy of them then can you just take it in, and they can photocopy it and place it to your file ?

    I have never provided any ID to LLoyds TSB, they just verified my details electronically.
    Im an ex employee RBS Group

    i didnt have to provide any id either, only had to complete & return a form with my signature on.

    it was same with santander for me aswell
