Slow growing seeds - any ideas why?

I sowed various seeds several weeks ago, lettuce, rocket, green beans, beetroot. They are still at the very small leaved stage. I water and feed them as directed. Everyone seems to be harvesting their veggies. Any ideas why mine are so little!!
