I have given my sister some pea plants that I grew from seed and when I saw her yesterday she was saying that when she had them on the patio the squirrels would come down from the trees and pinch the pods off that were growing. She has since moved the tub onto the window sill (they are in a window sill type pot). Is there anything she can do to stop them doing this as she has said the ones she did manage to get her hands on tasted really nice?

Simply divide the plants into two, put one set with convenient access to the squirrels and the other as close to the house as possible, the squirrels should be content with devouring risk free plants and leave the others alone.
Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.
