Palmolive products generally don't contain the dreaded SLS - and they don't cost as much as the fancy organic potions either!

Shampoo and liquid soap - I don't believe bar soap contains it anyway.

    Hi ang68,

As this is more of an I wanna thread than Old Style I'll move it over to the I wanna board.

For castille soap, try your healthfood store. There's an olive based brand (this one) that's reasonably priced and widely available.

Soap on hair isn't always a good idea, though. I'm on the hunt for an SLS-free shampoo myself, and I've heard nothing but good about this one (haven't tried it myself yet, still using up old stuff). They do both solid and liquid shampoos.

Thanks for that. I was actually looking for Dr Bronners, but having brought it in New York didnt know where to get it from here. Im gonna go on beauty naturals now. Have you used Beauty naturals yourself, what are they like?

I think I have seen something like that with the Neil's Yard Remedies. If you look on their website they will have it listed and it is organic, too. http://www.nealsyardremedies.com
They do a postal service so you don't have to live in London to get one.

Oh, I know where else they sell it and it is Dr Bronner (with loads of Biblical writing on the bottle..? and in Hemp/Lavender, etc)
Fresh and Wild stock them, but I am not sure if the shops exist outside of London. By the look of it any good natural/organic store will sell it.
