E700 camera dead, Help

HI, my samsung e700 just freezes whenever i try to use it's camera, then i have to reboot it before i can do anything.
I don't know what happened but it just happened like this. I can still make and receive calls but it annoys me that the camera is not working. So before i'm going to a repairer, I wanted to ask here first.

If it freezes, then it's a software problem, take it to get repaired, or if your due an upgrade, then get a different phone.

could also be the ribbon cable on the way out
very common on these
get it fixed under warrenty before it runs out (if not to late)

the warranty expired last december...

you could flash it yourself if you get the cable - the s/w and flash files are about on the web
i dont flash these (never tried) but i can give you some contacts if you dont want to do it yourself
if its the ribbon cable i think the lcds are soldered to these with lots of joints, its easier to replace the inner and outer screens complete with the ribbon
costs about £40 new

i have the same problem with my e700 i phoned around and was told had to have new screens and would cost £80 i dont know anything about mobile phones so if anyone can help me with where to get it fixed cheaper would be eternally gratefull
