E700 camera dead, Help
HI, my samsung e700 just freezes whenever i try to use it's camera, then i have to reboot it before i can do anything.
I don't know what happened but it just happened like this. I can still make and receive calls but it annoys me that the camera is not working. So before i'm going to a repairer, I wanted to ask here first.
Thanks

If it freezes, then it's a software problem, take it to get repaired, or if your due an upgrade, then get a different phone.0

could also be the ribbon cable on the way out
very common on these
get it fixed under warrenty before it runs out (if not to late)0 -
Thanks,
the warranty expired last december...Life should not be taken seriously, as no one would get out alive0 -
you could flash it yourself if you get the cable - the s/w and flash files are about on the web
i dont flash these (never tried) but i can give you some contacts if you dont want to do it yourself
if its the ribbon cable i think the lcds are soldered to these with lots of joints, its easier to replace the inner and outer screens complete with the ribbon
costs about £40 new0 -
i have the same problem with my e700 i phoned around and was told had to have new screens and would cost £80 i dont know anything about mobile phones so if anyone can help me with where to get it fixed cheaper would be eternally gratefull0
