Hi
Has anyone else had a change in the frequency of there DLA payments? It used to be every four weeks but today I received half of what I usually get and it was two weeks early.
I haven't been notified of any changes but it seems that is what it is.
Can't get through to the benefits helpline as it has been busy all the time.
Thanks.

Turns out that my DLA was due for renewal and apparently they sent me a renewal form in February and it wasn't returned. I never even received one. So part of my DLA has been cancelled until it is sorted...
They said they are sending me another form.
It is the part of my DLA that I had to go through a whole tribunal to get a year and a half ago as well so I am hoping I won't have to do that again.0 -
Just read you first post and thats what I was going to ask you - was it do for renewal.
Please people make sure you know when its due for renewal, and don't forget - it's important.
Or write it down somewhere you won't forget.
And make sure you follow it up if you haven't heard anything a couple of months before it's due.
Have seen loads of post about people saying they didn't get the forms and the problems it causes. It's hard enough to claim without this added problem and a chance you will loose money.0 -
You may have a long wait now without any DLA payments although if your claim is successful it will be back dated. I wonder if you will have to do PIP instead of DLA now?0
