Business Account Advice Please

I wonder if anyone can help me.
My OH is employed full-time but is setting up a business part-time with view to eventually turning it into full time. We have done the necessary stuff with the Inland Revenue.
I'm now wondering what is the best course of action for banking. We are only talking a few thousand of income per year. We have 2 joint current accounts. Would it be ok to use one of these for lodging cheques? The problem is that I am on a DMP and hence it will be a nightmare for him to get another account. Can anyone recommend an account that doesn't credit check? We don't need/want an overdraft or anything fancy. We just want to keep things above board.
Any advice welcome.

Try a basic current account with Norwich and Peterborough Building Society. Cheque book, online banking and Link card. Visit https://www.npbs.co.ukDon't lie, thieve, cheat or steal. The Government do not like the competition.

I'm sorry, I don't apologise. That's just the way I am. Homer (Simpson)0
