Ever wondered how a beautiful piece of jewellery is made? Or a fine piece of furniture? You can witness these and many more pieces of art and craft being created at Art in Action. Over 4 days in July, in the grounds of Waterperry House, artists and craftsmen come together to demonstrate their skills, giving visitors a unique opportunity to literally watch ‘art in action’. Over 400 artists work in a variety of disciplines including painting, sculpture, printmaking, ceramics, calligraphy, illustration, glass, metalwork, jewellery, textiles, woodwork and more. There are also practical classes, lectures, live music and performing arts.
Art in Action will take place at: Waterperry House, Near. Wheatley, Oxfordshire OX33 1JZ, 18th-21st July 2013, 10:00am -5:30pm daily
