Free cream with strawberries at Tesco

If you buy a punnet of strawberries (£2) there's a sticker saying free 75ml single or double cream with purchase. This applies regardless of whether punnet has yellow sticker or other reduction.
I got cream but the freebie wasn't applied at the till so went to CS who refunded (55p). I should probably have asked for DTD but couldn't be bothered (as I got the strawberries for 30p).

    in mine its 150ml cream and my strawberrys reduced to £1 bur got to till and she said no free cream because they where reduced the till wouldnt allow it. I just took the strawbs.
    Save saynoto0870.com in your favorites, and stop giving companies more £££ dialling 0870 numbers when you can dial freephones or cheaper alternatives.:j

    They wouldn't allow me to have the free cream when I bought reduced strawberries the other day.

    Perfectly edible without cream IMO. A bit of ice-cream from the freezer instead can't harm though ;)

    I bought 1 pot of cream anyway, as I do love them with a bit of cream! But I love them just dunked in sugar too :)

    I bought tons, but I'm using most of them to make jam anyway :)
