Quick question on behalf of a friend he has been looking up at phone prices online now his contract has expired.

Are co op home phone & broadband a re-seller of another provider reason asked is this person avoids anything to do with talk talk like the plague.

There is only BT and Virgin Cable, outwith this everyone else resells BT. Even baddie Talk Talk resell BT or use its local loop. As I recall, reseller Saga Telecom (a BT reseller) was taken over by SETCO, who rebranded as the Phone Co-Op.

just trying to double check for him as we found a old thread on here claiming there a talk talk reseller.

Shows you how much money can be made from punters if two firms can retail on a service to the end user, and still make a profit!

I had a look at the Phone Co-Op's website and found it disturbing in that it as only interested in promoting its brand and 'ethical' connections rather than providing disclosure on who actually provides the service (both landline and mobile).

For those reasons alone, I'd not be interested in signing up with them simply because other charitable outfits and unions did.
