Renewing tax credit by post

Hi guys,
I sent my forms off by post on the 3rd of June. By now in previous years my payments would have normally changed slightly. However, I've again today had my usual amount. I know we earnt £4000 less this year that last year so I am expecting my payments to increase slightly.
Has anyone else renewed by post and if so how long did they take to make different payments or send you a tax credit award? I renewed by post because most people phone, so thought it may be quicker this way.
Thanks in advance
Charlie

I also renewed by post on 3rd June.
I had my usual payment in my bank on Weds 12th June and then on Saturday 22nd June I received 2 envelopes from them, 1 advising my final payments for last year and 1 confirming my payments for this year.
I don't have any childcare costs and only claim CTC so maybe this is why mine was pretty quick this year, just under 3 weeks from start to finish inc 2 lots of postage time.Savings Target 2015 £10/£3000 :rotfl:0 -
Hiya i have renewed by post too first week of june and still waiting for my paperwork I was only £25 out with yearly figure we are guestimated n so don't think it will be too big a difference here. xJan 2015 GC £267/£260
