Should I let my new boyfriend buy a stake in my house?

Thanks everyone, this has been really helpful.
Weighing up the pros and cons, I think I'm going to go for either letting him buy half, or letting him buy a quarter with the option to buy another quarter a few years down the line if we're not married them (as double mummy suggested).
That way, he has a stake in the house he lives in, and doesn't feel as though he's just my lodger. I get an extra £500 a month through not having to pay off a mortgage, I save the £100K in interest I'd otherwise have to pay over 25 years, and we both have a lump sum left over that we can either put into savings accounts/shares/buy-to-let properties or spend on nice holidays together/a holiday home or similar.
The alternative is he has loads of disposable income AND savings, but money's much tighter for me and all my capital is tied up in the house, which would not be a great situation to be in for the next 20 years! Yes it's a risk to sell him half, but of the two options I prefer it. The worse thing that'll happen is that I'll have to move if we break up, but who knows if I'd want to stay in the house/the town I'm in anyway?
Thanks for all the advice, it's really helped me make up my mind. :T And don't worry, everything will be done properly and in writing via a solicitor I promise!0
