Hi, I don't think you'll find any resolution without sitting down with all involved and talking it through. It may cause some stress/upset etc, but you're doing it for a reason, your wife and baby's health and your financial well being, I'm sure they could all appreciate that? It's not like you've just decided you don't want your part anymore.
Is there no way your wife's sister might consider selling some of the horses? What does she do with them? I know too well the full cost of keeping one horse not to mention 12!
