Payment by card

If I make a debit card payment to my creditors over the phone (automated ) am I leaving myself open to trouble? As they will then have bank details?

I wouldn't. Once they have the details it's too open to abuse. Heard too many times of more payments being taken that you then have to fight like hell to get back.

    Hmm....

I want to make my token payments but I haven't got any statements with the giro slip on!

Any other way I can pay?

You can send a cheque or postal order, postal orders cost 50p each though.

But surely a cheque would have the same details on? I don't have a cheque book on that account anyway

I did ask them for details but they didn't reply!

Sorry to be dense but which numbers do I need to set one up myself?
