hi all.
try not to get long windered however, i am currently 60 days away from my first years driving and insurance so thought id shop around. last week i entered my details to get an idea of what price i will be paying next year. got my cheapest fully comp quote with £200 excess at 809.44 so this week with it almost being close to locking in quote i thought id rerun the quote running same details. same company came out cheapest but now being quoted almost £1200. why now a week later am i being charged almost 50% more?
just a few details. im 29 got my license last july. no accidents, claims, or missed payments on the insurance.
anyone shed any light why the jump of almost 50% in a space of a week?

Because the system has detected you have less time or you tried changing some of the options and it thinks your trying to defraud them.
Only do the quotes when your ready to buy. If you want to play and tinker use the nachines at an internet cafe and use fake names/address.
They know its you because of your IP address and computer name etc. So just using a fake name wont work.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

Changing cars = changed options. You are now closer to the renewal date = changed options.
They know you need insurance soon.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
hi thanks for the reply. no what i was saying was i recently bought my car and ran the quote 10 days ago when i bought it to get an idea only to rerun to lock in with a couple of insurers for the 45 days beforehand. havent changed the options yes when i requoted on 17th june price has doubled what i was quoted when i first ran. doesnt matter as i rerun the quote today and its back to where it was before. still a ripoff £902 for the year fully comp. not much of a drop off last year where i was a new driver of 1098 but spose a little saving is a little saving:j:jDribbling my way to financial success:j:j

Insurance doesnt make sense. Add a driver thats made several claims in the past few years to my long claim free record and the price drops.
How can that be sensible?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
