Ask to speak to the store manager, let them know how you feel. Embarrassed, upset etc due to being spoken to like you haveIf you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always got...

Thanks Zippy and Flossy for all you help and advice.
It appears that this was a glitch and therefore would not be entitled to DTD, as they have sent me a moneycard for the DTD I can't really then complain about the staff (even though they are incredibly rude!) because I have got something that I was not entitled to.
