I said to the driver that some things were a lot more expensive than when I had ordered and he said just give them a call, which I did. The lady asked if they were still on offer, told her it said last night end of July and when I told her what products it was she said oh yes we are aware of an error but we will honour it for you.Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

Lovely driver let me keep all the stuff but rejected the items that made up the difference. So £64 worth of cleaning products for £29. V pleased.0

Be aware, that Tesco may try to wriggle out of refunding the difference for online orders, my order was delivered last night, when I phoned customer services their systems were down. Called back this morning, first they didn't believe I had been over charged by £50 ( I mainly ordered the fairy dishwasher tablets at £2). Then they said that the prices had changed on the day of packing my order, when I said I'd screen shot the prices at 4pm yesterday still showing the'glitch' prices, I was put on hold, she then came back and said they would refund 50% of the overcharge or come and collect the order. It was only when I told her that I had been following this thread and was well aware that it had happened to others she agreed to refund the whole overcharge0

Husb bought 2 of the oven cleaners and 2 limescale removers on 17th June,he was charged full price so that evening I called customer service who advised that I had been overcharged and that I would be able to get DTD.
I went to our local store today to get the refund, was told I would have to speak to CS on the phone which I did. The lady denied that it had every been on offer at £1 each, I explained that CS had seen it online when I called that evening but that was hotly denied. She did say that she would send the DTD in the form of a money card but it was strongly impressed on me that it was a gesture because they could not see I was entitled to it!
The lady was not exactly polite so when I cam home I called CS and got the same reaction ( and polite attitude!),how do I prove that this offer existed? I know I am getting the money back but I do not like being treated as a liar! :mad:0 -

Thanks Flossy but unfortunately the receipt on Facebook does not mention the limescale remover or the oven cleaner that I bought - it's really useful though, to people who are having problems getting the other items refunded0
