please guide me

Hi
Me and my wife are working full time and we are expecting a baby in November,
My wife will get 90 days pay from her employer.

We have never claimed any assistance from government before so please guide me what benefits are we going to be eligable.
I will be working full time, however our mortgage takes a big chunk of my salary, travelling, food and council tax is other big expenses.

Please guide me
