Hi,

I just visited Ebico website and downloaded application to switch from British Gas to Ebico premetre for both of my Gas and Electric.

I need know:-

1. How long does it take once I send off the form?
2. Does Ebico charge for installing an premetre?

    In my case the process took about 6 weeks from the acknowledgement, you will be dealing with Scottish and southern energy after the initial contact with Ebico.
    I assume you mean a pre payment meter, I would have thought you continue to use the one you have?
    I'd give Ebico a ring.
    That gum you like is coming back in style.

    Hi,

    Currently there is no pre payment metre is installed. I just moved into the property and I should be getting quarterly bills from British Gas.

    I have chceked Ebico website but cannot find anything in relation to charges for installing an pre payment metre.

    Has anyone anstalled this and if there was a charge?

    Most companies will fit a prepayment meter free of charge, however you could phone Ebico to confirm that.
