I have got an allotment however need to decide on some tools for it so wondered what people would recommend to get started and what are the best makes for quality/ where to go for quality,

Get some old tools if you can. This modern stuff isnt brill.
I bought an expensive fork from B&Q with a lifetime guarantee. Think it managed less than a couple of months before it broke.
Took it back and they were just about to say you need to contact the manufacturer for the guarantee then spotted i only bought it weeks before.
Swapped for another one, I treat it with kid gloves now. Unlike the one my FIL gave me which you could probably split concrete with it.
I did wonder whether the contractors fork would be stronger?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
