well done! obviously getting ready to open accounts in your name, then probably take loans out in your name...... plunder thee accountsm, and leave you with the debtPromo codes are never always cheaper..... isnt that right EuropCar?0 -
A few months ago I got an automated call, purporting to be from Barclaycard, and it wanted me to enter my DoB, I entered 999999 a few times and it put me through to an Indian gentleman who refused to do anything until I had 'cleared security' by providing even more information
I hung up and phoned B/C and it turned out it was them and someone had charged my card £500 for a hotel in France
I seem to recall other banks ask you a couple of questions with multiple choice answers with one correct one
It's difficult to know what to do when even authorised callers encourage you to break basic security advice0 -
They should use two way verification so they tell you part of the answer to a question and you reply with the rest.
Personally I'd ask who they are, then call them back on a known number.0 -
That sort of call is from a scamster any day of the week.0
