Tesco Pet Insurance - thoughts?

Hi all
I was never a believer in pet insurance, and still im sitting on the fence.... however after Cody being diagnosed last november and subsequently being pts in March i forked out over £1600.
I had a quote from petplan @ £25 odd a month.
This covered upto £7000 per year with a £100 excess.
Tesco's extra cover cover upto £7500 per condition over the policy life time with a £60 excess....
Whats people thoughts, especially people who use Tesco?

Have you looked at Argos Platinum?
It is 7k per year, life cover.
My dog and one of my cats are with Argos Platinum, other 4 cats are with PetPlan.
All claims with Argos (dog over 14k, cat over 5k) were settled with no problems.0
