Try your nearest Youth Hostel - modern ones now have family rooms.

We stayed at the Premier Travel Inn in Frome, Somerset. It cost £50 for a family room for 2+2.

    Hi,
We stayed at Brokerswood Countrypark which was a few minutes drive way. It was a camping/ caravan site on a country park with 2 adventure playgrounds, zip wire etc and a little ride on train that ran between the two! The kids enjoyed staying there and the facilities were pretty good. It was a cheap place to stay and so handy for Longleat. You are free to use the park after it is closed so the children loved playing in the adventure playground before bed!!
