Jigsaw £1000 voucher - thanks Painkiller, and a couple of things to remember compers!

https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4566537

I've been comping since Jan 1 2009, and have had some good wins - not a lot, but a handful of decent ones. But, like I imagine all compers, I've got a little bit down recently about the lack of wins. So instead of coming on the forum every few days or so, it turned into every week or so, then every few weeks or so. In fact, this month, I've only been on a couple of times. But today, I logged onto my competition email, to find one titled "Congratulations from Jigsaw", dated May 21. The text read "You have been selected as the winner of the ‘Jigsaw - Shortlist’ competition.
As the winner, you will receive: A £1000 voucher to spend in-store.
As the voucher is similar to sending cash, we will need you to provide a suitable address where someone can sign for the package. Due to the short timings, please send a reply of confirmation of this email within 48 hours and I will contact you with more details. If you do not contact us within 48 hours, a new winner will be selected."

That was 8 days ago!! I responded straight away, and asked whether they had indeed picked someone else, kicking myself for not being more regimented about checking my emails. Got a response back almost straight away saying "We haven’t selected a new winner – we normally wait a week or two because some people mistake our emails as spam!"

I was so happy!! So, 3 things compers;

1) Check those email accounts regularly - you never know when something might come in!!
2) Don't lose faith!!
3) Thanks again Painkiller - your username makes me sing the Turin Brakes song in my head whenever I see it, now I've a better memory!!
