If I had 3k or more and 2 weeks I'd go to Hawaii or the US. £1k each for a flight at that time of the year plus £600 for 10 nights accommodation leaving £400 for food and then anything else is your 'flexible' bit.

Isn't Mexico hurricane season in the summer?

Or you could do California? Or 5 nights La or Vegas & 5 nights Hawaii?

    Or New York & Florida?

    Thailand?

Maybe even 10 nights in Queensland in Oz as its the dry season.

    Tons of places!

Mexico is lovely. I'm sure you can get a good all inclusive deal for your budget. How about First CHoice?

Thomas Cook is currently cheaper than Thomson for Mexico, that's if you can put up with their aircraft.
I would advise you to look at the Iberostar hotels in Montego Bay,that is with Thomson, very nice hotels and within 15 minutes of the airport,we recently returned from Jamaica, very nice.

Dominican Republic is cheaper than Mexico for similar hotels. Been there several times. Try Punta Cana. :j
  • If you were willing to go for less time you will probably find something. Kenwood travel have some deals for under £3k, flying with BA 11 nights, 17 august.
