The Competition closes at 23.59 on 10 June 2013. Entries received after that date and time will not be considered. 8. The winner will be chosen from a random draw of entries.
9. One winner will receive two nights for two people at Il Salviatino, inclusive of flights and dinner on one night exactly as seen in the Observer Magazine. GNM accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with the prize and not specifically included in the prize.
10. Flight conditions are as follows:
(i) One (1) ticket for a return flight for two (2) people for flights operated by VUELING between London -Florence and subject to availability of places;
(ii) The date of the flight must be between 10th June 2013 to 31st December 2013 and must be reserved between 25th May 2013 to 25th June 2013. The reservation must be done fifteen (15) days in advance
(iii) The date of the flight must be between 10th June 2013 and 31st December 2013, apart from the following periods during which the tickets may not be redeemed:
Between 21/06/2013 and 12/09/13 (both included)
Between 20/09/13 and 25/09/13 (both included)
Between 31/10/13 and 04/11/13 (both included)
Between 05/12/13 and 09/12/13 (both included)
Between 20/12/13 and 31/12/13 (both included)
(iv) The ticket will include airport fees and checking in one (1) suitcase of up to twenty-three (23) kilos.
(v) The two people (winner and companion) must travel on the same flight.
(vi) Bookings may not be modified once issued.
11. The winner will be notified by phone or email on or before May 4 2013 and given details of how to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond to GNM within 7 days of being notified by GNM, then the winner's prize will be forfeited and GNM shall be entitled to select another winner (and that winner will have to respond to the phone call or email from GNM within 7 days or else they will also forfeit their prize). If a winner rejects their prize, then the winner's prize will be forfeited and GNM shall be entitled to select another winner.
12. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes.


Only one entry per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.

So the comp ends on 10 June, someone at the Guardian travels back in time to inform the winner on 4 May which means if you haven't already been told you have won then there is no point entering.:question: :huh:
