Offered a job

Hi ive been offered a job, wanted me to start today but couldnt get hold of dwp on Friday even though on phone for more than an hour,to tell them to stop my esa, ive been asked to start Tuesday but again will not be able to get hold of Dwp until i finished my shift, shall i start,im not sure what to do

Yes, you can write to them and let them know the date you started work if you cant get through on the phone, which is difficult as the lines are always busy. I think you get paid benefits in arrears anyway, you'll just be paid until the day before you started the job.
