E: 01/06 Win 1 of 2 exclusive 'new vintage' classical music vinyl boxsets worth £3400

theguardian

Record producer Pete Hutchison's Electric Recording Company has painstakingly refurbished 1960s analogue recording equipment and vintage cutting and printing machinery in order to reissue rare recordings from EMI's "golden era" of classical vinyl, recalling a pre-digital era when "records were handmade artifacts crafted by artisans" creating sound of the highest quality. The first of these "new vintage" issues are Mozart à Paris, a 7-disc box set (RRP: £2,495) of the compositions Mozart made in Paris between 1763 and 1778, originally issued by Path! Marconi in 1956 , and a 3 volume set of Bach solo violin sonatas (RRP: £900) from 1954 by the Hungarian violinist Johanna Martzy. Both sets have been produced in runs of just 300.
