pcn fine on road near john lennonairport

I have received a £60 fine ,but forums seem to say don't pay but I am not sure,should I write to them or ignore it???

    So who gave you this alleged fine? Is it VCS ? If it is them or any private parking company then they cannot fine you at all
    When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
    We don't need the following to help you.
    Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

    Well you can actually challenge them and if they reject go to popla the independent appeals, most people win there with ours and pepipoo.com advice. It's highly unlikely that they will be stupid enough to try court, but than can be covered also.

    One thing did they send you the letter within 56 days of the parking ? They need that to comply with pofa 2012, if they didn't there is the first appeal point to popla.

    That is only true if they left a Notice To Driver on the car when they can send a Notice To Keeper through the post between 28 days & 56 days later. If there was no NTD e.g. clocked on CCTV then the NTK must be received not later than 14 days after the day after the parking event. That's received within 14 days not just posted or dated within 14 days.
