How to get banks to publish credit limit to credit scorers

Hi

I own a limited company and recently done a credit report on my company out of curiosity.

The credit report states up to December 2012 I have a 10k credit limit which was provided by my bank through my commercial card linked to the company bank account.

In Jan 2013 my bank sent me a new commercial card as the previous has expired. The credit limit and all other details are still the same apart from one thing, the old card was a mastercard and the new one is visa.

I don't understand why the credit report says that my company no longer has the 10k credit limit even though it still does. I suspect the changing of the card in January had something to do with it but I have no idea why because cards expire all the time.

Should I contact my bank about this (if so what department)? Or should I contact experian?

Can I ask my bank to republish the credit limit they have given the company to credit scorers?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I don't think the the limit in the past would make any difference to credit scoring.

It sounds like the card provider have changed their agreement with you, changing you from a mastercard to a visa agreement.

That would probably explain why the mastercard agreement is no longer showing (assuming you've no ongoing debt to repay)

You don't say why the change of card occured. Perhaps there has been a change of supporting bank too? And perhaps that has resulted in them using a different credit reference agency?

Have you checked them all? Or are you saying you can see the Visa card on the credit history you are looking at? If so, what does it say about the amount of credit granted?
