Help - cake/goodies with no egg ...

I promised to make cake or something similarly yummy for an event tomorrow, but I have just realised I have no eggs!
I have flour, butter, sugar & lots of other stuff - whatever I make needs to be pretty decent rather than "ordinary" any ideas what I could make that doesn't need eggs? (It's chucking it down & I dont fancy going out again unless I really have to!)

Have you tried googling "eggless cake"? Give it a try quite a lot of websites come up, mainly vegan, including cupcakes. BBC Good Food website have an eggless chocolate cake which might be OK for you.

How about shortbread biscuits cut into something like flower shapes if you have a cutter and then sandwiched together with butter icing and jam?0

can use vinegar binds/mixes cake mixture like eggs do I made cake well banana bread but still call it cake with vinegar and it still tasted alright.0
