Summer Jobs for 17 year old?

Hi

I have searched a lot of recommended websites and am just basically looking for a good summer job in glasgow - however I really cannot find anything. Does anyone have any websites they can recommend? Do you think I should just go to the shops and ask if they have any jobs? Also wondering if I would be employed in a call centre type place?

Sign up with employment agencies doing factory work. It's rubbish but there's plenty of it available, there's no commitment to having to stay, no notice to give and it's just got to last the summer.

Not usually but if you go to https://www.jobcentreplus.gov.uk and do a search in your area, you'll figure out quickly which are agencies.

Thanks will go on that site - also have tried the supermarkets near me and they do not have gaps or they need more trained people than myself.
