Hi
I am due with Baby 1 end of October - I would like to bake and freeze ahead so when guests come over I can pop it out and heat briefly and serve when people pop round
so far I have
- Scones
- Banana Bread
- Biscuits - could freeze cookie dough
any other ingenious ideas?
Thanks in advance xx
ps - I am sure there is prob a thread already so please merge if necessary

Hi,
I freeze fruit loaf, victoria sponge (without the jam filling) Twinks Hob Nobs (if you search these should come up)
I'm not sure about heating any of them though as I just leave to defrost.
These are all fully cooked when I freeze, btw.0 -
I freeze practically everything I bake. Flapjacks, cakes and loaf cakes of all descriptions, biscuits, scones (and scone mix), pastry - the lot. I cut large cakes up into slices and cover them individually with cling wrap. I then put these in the lunch boxes - no waste. Not that there's waste in our house anyway though - if I made 50 cakes a week, the gluttons in here would eat 'em! lol0
