Hello. Could anyone recommend a very fast growing evergreen climber hat will grow up a trellis fence & provide privacy? Many thanks.

How abt an Ivy? I've just planted one for coverage, but I'm sure you can train it to climb? Lots of different ones abt!!

I've just bought some Russian Vine which is also known as Mile a Minute for obvious reasons.

Careful though it really does take off.

Both excellent suggestions many thanks. Iv'e seen ivy on a fence & it does look very nice & as for the vine, do you know how high it could climb in a year haribo?

i've just checked the label and it says 40 ft in ten years. :eek:

Not evergreen but Sweet peas are very pretty & can be fragrant whilst runner beans are quite pretty but tasty. Beans can mean Screens! (Forgive me).

:rotfl: runner beans would have a double use but are they evergreen?

LONICERA JAPONICA HALLS PROLIFIC (Honeysuckle) - Evergreen with scented yellow flowers.

Errata

Clematis armandii, unusual shaped leaves with small flowers. Mine has romped away in 12 months.
