County Court Claim Form from Parking Eye

I received a parking fine in November last year from Parking eye and ignored that and susbequent letters. Today I received a claim form from them for Money Claim Online at Northampton County Court. Doing a quick Google search it seems this is a new approach for Parking Eye and I would really appreciate some advice as I simply cannot remember being in the car park although photographic evidence was printed on one of the letters showing the car registration so do not know what to use as my defense. The car in question although registered to me is a family car and used by three of us but that seems a little vague.

Head over to Pepipoo and post a thread about it. Don't give too many specific details in the main thread though as Parking Eye have people scanning these forums for evidence.

In terms of the court papers, indicate that you want to defend it and you deny responsibility. Also there is an option to request 28 days to submit a defence, you should select that too to give you the maximum time to come up with a defence.

The guys from pepipoo are good and will get you a nice watertight defence statement knocked up which you issue to the court. From there, it's up to Parking Eye whether to drop it or pursue it. They do tend to drop it (though it's not a guarantee)
