parking eye using debt recovery services?

Hey guys, I received a parking eye fine from when i parked in a car park late at night without paying from not seeing a sign way back in February.
I've followed everyones advice and just ignored it after reading up they where just a scam in drag.
anyway, I've had a letter come through from a company called "Debt recovery plus ltd" now saying there is a £150 of outstanding money owed and i need to pay in 14 days to avoid escilation.
they're claiming they are part of the BPA and approved.
Whats everyones advice for this? Am i one of the unlucky few which may actually be taking to court over this or is it another part of their scam?
I know this might have been covered a few times before but its pretty unnerving.
thanks.

I've just read the thread below saying to ignore this as well.
so all is still ok to just ignore this whole thing then?0 -
"Debt Recovery Plus" are a cynically named company whose name was chosen to mislead you into believing they are something they aren't. The main points are a) there is no debt and b) even if there was a debt DR+ wouldn't own it as you have no alleged contract with them. Therefore there's nothing they can do other than send you a few threatening letters in order to try to con you into sending them some money.
You can safely ignore all DR+'s junk mail, the only time you would need to act if you receive court papers from Northampton Court in which case you'll need to create a new thread on pepipoo.com and wait for someone to advise you on how to scare off the scammers. The fridge is empty, the walls are damp, there's no hot water

Like pretty much every tenth post on this forum (and more commonly on pepipoo) you have got one of the computerised standard letters that everyone gets!

I too can send you a very convincing invoice and to make look even more legit I'll include my vat number - something the scammers conveniently leave out.
Would you kindly pay it within the next 7 days?
Or, would you ignore?0 -
hmmmmm, Better ignore or Pay?0
