Ending my BT contract

I am moving house and I don't want to remain with BT,
If you leave the property can the account be closed or would I have to pay a termination fee. ?

Unless you migrate the service then an ETC will be payable if you are still in minimum term.No free lunch, and no free laptop

Even if you don't have an early termination period to worry about, if you have BB, there will still be a closure fee to recover the BB applied to your final bill.0

You're still in contract, otherwise everyone would just tell BT they're moving without actually doing so.
And, of course, BT will just ask for your new address and fit the service there.0
