Morning everyone,
So excited this morning, rhubarb is growing massive, blackberry bush looking green at last, loads of strawberries, potted up some cucumbers, courgettes, tomatoes ... and my cat has dug up my beetroot and carrots
Have left my job and my lovely colleagues have given me a dwarf peach tree and £70 in Wyvale vouchers
Going to buy a nice pot to put the peach tree in, can anyone advise as to what compost I will need?

We got one of their terrace nectarines last year and potted it up in john Innes no3 with a little bit of grit mixed in and it seems really happy, have done the same with one from DTBrowns and an apricot and all are thriving
If you don't have a date on the vouchers though keep a few back as in my Wyevales (Purley) they are always having seedsales and often clearout stuff for 5p or 10p a pack! I now have way too many seeds but can't resist a bargain..0 -
Thank you, that is a big help.
Thanks for the tip on the seeds too.
Will go and have a nosey tomorrow and see what I can find for the gardenA creative mess is better than tidy idleness0 -
You may want to keep it out of the rain to avoid peach leaf curl for a couple more weeks. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.
If you quote me, don't forget the capital 'M'
