Hi
My little king charles cavalier has hip dysplasia and can't really walk very far, we're going on holiday soon (staying in the UK) and was looking to buy a dog pram/stroller so she can come out with us.
Has anybody used one and can recommend a decent but affordable one? Ideally want to spend less than £40.
Has anybody used a regular pram instead of an actual "dog" one?
Thanks
Hayley

Try a charity shop and you could get one for a fraction of the price, I haven't used one for this purpose but I think it might work as long as she won't try to jump out, if she is harnessed in she might be safer.Norn Iron Club member 4730

There's a lady where i live and she has an old style silver cross pram for her 5dogs so you can defiantly use a babies pram. I would also suggest charity shops or you could try free cycle or gum tree.0

we got a suitcase with wheels for our bichon when he lost his ability to walk
bit like this
zips fully open and he never tried to jump out, but of course you know your dog best.0 -
Why not? You'll look nutty, but cute nutty IYSWIM
. Plus I bet it's a lot easier to get hold of a normal pram cheaply.

eBay have some for about £40, they are also on Amazon (in the above Amazon link).
I guess you could use a regular pram if your dog is not likey to jump out. The ones made for pets tend to have a leash inside to attach to their collar/harness to prevent them jumping out, but I guess you could adapt a regular buggy to do the same thing.0
