Lost Parking Ticket

I was given a parking ticket a fortnight ago. It was in an NHS Hospital car park where I had forgotten to buy a pay & display.

Unbelievably I kept the yellow plastic envelope...and threw the ticket away!

I do want to pay it..however I do not know to whom and the reference.

I am assuming at some time I would get a letter if it remains unpaid..but I am a compliant would and would like to settle it.

Can anyone tell me what the next steps will be from the operators perspective or offer advice how I solve this problem.

Thank you

    if its run by scammers
next step is easy.... you will get a demand for £40-80 depending where you live
chuck it in the bin and IGNORE do not contact them at all and if you feel guilty about not paying put a couple of quid in a charity box/scanner appeal next time time your there

Please don't throw anything away just file it away. It's quite easy to distinguish parking tickets issued by scammers, if they are parking charge notices they are scammers, or if they have a name like parking eye, or ukcps ltd then they are scammers.

If this is issued in England or Wales you do have an option to appeal independently to popla. Just come back with a company name and we can advise further. If you have something with penalty on there it's probably from a council, you definitely need further help then.
When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

All I kept was the yellow plastic envelope. It says "Parking Charge Notice"

Just wait until they write to you, we can't advise anything unless we are a 100% sure, but it looks like scammers
